Each piece is dried slowly a two week period. Then, it's fired in an electric kiln, reaching temperatures of 1828 degrees Fahrenheit. The vase is glazed with four to five coats and fired a second time, soaring to 2232 degrees Fahrenheit.

During this second firing, the glaze transforms into a radiant glass, and the magic happens. The midsection of the vase remains unglazed, showcasing the exquisite raw porcelain. This tactile contrast, both rough and smooth, beckons both the eye and the hand to explore this remarkable vessel.
